Art Deco Fair The Hague
The new collecting season takes off with the 14th edition of the renowned fair at Grote Kerk in The Hague, from 2 to 5 February 2012. Rob will present his usual blend of classic decorative arts and modern design, featuring a.o. fine examples of Dutch furniture, Italian glass, Danish ceramics and German graphic art.

Alexander Calder in The Hague
In the February issue of Collect magazine Rob will devote an article to this famous American equilibrist, on the occasion of an important retrospective of Calder’s work in The Hague municipal museum. This exhibition, entitled ‘Alexander Calder, the great discovery’, focuses on the decisive influence of Mondrian’s work on Calder, as well as the way in which Calder in turn inspired Dutch artists during the postwar era. On show 11 February to 12 May 2012.
