Rob Driessen can provide appraisals for insurance, division, sale or benefaction. When you have carefully established a collection, it is important to known what it’s worth: for your peace of mind, for insurance purposes and eventually for your descendants. In order to perform an accurate appraisal, a valuer has to have thorough theoretical and practical knowledge. The TMV (Dutch Federation of Valuers, Brokers and Auctioneers) sees to it that its members are kept up-to-date with the latest developments and regulations within the art market. Thus, appraisals by a registered valuer are accepted by insurance companies, notaries, auction houses and other professional institutions. Rob is often consulted by museums regarding acquisitions, loans or donations and to organise public valuation days on location (a.o. in cooperation with the Leerdam National Glassmuseum).
For appraisals, an hourly fee will be charged.
